FAIRFAX, Va., April 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (U.S. Army INSCOM) has awarded ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) one of its 11 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide global intelligence support services (GISS). This multiple award IDIQ contract has an ordering period of 5 years and a potential value of $5.04 billion. Kem Technology will support ManTech as a sub-contractor for this opportunity and provide information technology services to the contract.
INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multi-discipline and all-source intelligence operations; and delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, and intelligence-related logistics, contracting, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition commands and the National Intelligence Community.
This important award gives ManTech the opportunity to provide advanced cyber operations, full-spectrum information operations and intelligence, as well as field logistics, forensics, and other mission-support and sustainment services that further U.S. national security objectives globally.
